if you didnt already know, i feel like everyone who has met him tho will agree...

anywho he just got a fun new toy - its a brompton!  they are kinda the coolest folding bikes ever.  they even have a brompton bike race - the first one in the usa is gonna be this march in philly, i think he;s gonna do it!  in 2008 his sister actually came in 3rd at the Smithfield Nocturne and won best dressed female - for which the prize was a bespoke bowler helmet presented by Paul Smith.  then in 2009 she competed in the BWC - the brompton world championship - where her best dressed title was usurped by another (i do not think better dressed) lady...

the sad news is just now circulating...  Alexander McQueen is dead at the young age of 40.  McQueen was found dead at his London home and Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

adam took me to the loveliest restaurant last night called Katja in the lower east side.  it was sooooooooo yummy!!! we had the sausage sampler - which has 3 different types of sausage, pork belly (one of mah faves!) sauerkraut, and some of the most buttery and melt in your mouth dumplings ive ever had!!  dude, it was so good!  and real reasonable in price too!  we each had some big draft beers AND the best desert!  warm chocolate cake with orange marmalade (they call it marmalade, i call it zesty orange orgasm) and a big scoop of schlag!  for those of you who dont know, schlag is homemade whipped cream that is both dense and airy at the same time - i have one girlfriend who is so obsessed with the stuff that when she goes to Peter Luger she gets a to-go cup to bring home with her!  (and the bitch is skinny so she can do that haha)

oh, and the waitress really liked my Rabid Fox ring, but obvs who wouldnt?!

Whiskey and Nachos!

so  i have been obsessing over the combo of whiskey and nachos sinse thanksgiving, when it first occured to me durring my travels to RI... i have to tell you, it did NOT dissapoint!  at all.

so last night was the super bowl.  i am not a sports fan, but last nights game was a true testament to a well played game!  the saints were phenomenal, and new orleans could not deserve a win more.  i went to my good friends home, where the party was pants optional.  everyone brought some good ole fashion american heart clogging food!  there was spicy meatballs, deviled eggs (cheddar and bacon style!) home made mac n cheese, stuffed potato skins, spicy italian sausage and peppers, pulled chicken nachos (obvs), and some of the best chili i have ever had.  ever.  there was no ground beef, instead there were massive hunks of steak that were so tender they melted in your mouth! o.m.g. dammit.

heeheehee i really do! WINK! hahaha so, i'm heading to philly in a lil, going to check out my lovely ladies over at Topstitch Boutique for their First Friday!!! woohooo!  They are showcasing the amazing  Kris Chau's illustrations and paintings.  i cannot wait!  also, it's gonna snow!  you know what that means?  actually you dont because i havent told you about my new SNOW SUIT yet!  i want to do a posting on it, but it hasnt snowed here yet!  there is supposed to be 16" coming down in philly tonight and i thought, what a great occation to rock mah new snow suit!  huuurah!  photos coming sooooooon! 

but sense i have some more hemming to do first, aaarg, i am not gonna be able to finish my 2 new illustrations! :( so! im gonna TEASE YOU! HAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA. damn skippy.

on another illustration today :)  i am SOOO ADDICTED to drawing!!   i also have some hemming to do, i went vintage shopping the other day and got some really fantastic finds!  a few of the dress are too long to be aplicable to todays aesthetics, so i am going to make them sessy and short!  woohoo! i likey sessy!  if you want to check any of them out, stop by Topstitch Boutique anytime after tomorrow!  anyway, im going to be away from the compy for a bit today, just wanted to pop in and say hi to ya'll.  im so excited that you guys like my blog and are interested in what i am doing!  i will defs have another fun illustration to post later today!  i have to work on some jewelry today too, (i still love you spring 2010), not that you guys will get to see it until a month from now, but i can start to tantalize you with the idea of it, cant i?!

the drawing anywayz. ;)  anywho, i like this site called shopstyle cause i can style outfits using the most amzing clothes!  the only thing is that i want to see the whole thing on someone, yk? so i started illustrating the looks.  this one has the alexander mcqueen printed leggings that i am OBSESSED with!  and the ring she is wearing is $22,525!  it is 22k yellow gold, rose gold and sterling silver ring set with 11.62ct hand-carved citrine and white and brown rough cut diamonds. yyyyyyuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmm.  i want now.  heeheeheeee
